Hi, just got this game for my computer... it runs fine but i have noticed the background graphics are awful; very pixulated and blurry. Is there anyway to fix this without using the patch that changes the ways the charcters look? If not, no big deal but it would be nice. Here is some info on my system: Vista home premium Intel 2duo core 1.50ghz 2gig ram In the FFVII configuration, I have it set too: Primary display driver direct3D Hardware Acceleration 640x480 NVIDIA TNT Any help would be good?
I am not sure if I am or am not. I know that I have the NVIDIA and TNT boxes checked in my configuration but I don't know if I actually have the card installed. Forgive me but I am not too computer literatem thanks for any patience. System requirements are: Final Fantasy VII has the following minimum system requirements: Pentium 133 w/ supported 3D accelerator card (4Mb video memory or greater) or P166 w/out supported 3D accelerator card (see below) Intel or 100% Intel-compatible CPU 32 Mb RAM 4x CD-ROM drive Windows 95 DirectX 5.1 (included on Installation CD) DirectMedia 5.2 (included on Installation CD) ...as far as I know, I meet and exceed all of these requirments. Here are my stats: Chip type: Mobile intel 965 express chipset DAC Type: Internal Graphics memory: 358mb FFVII's readme file also gives me this information: Supported 3D Accelerator Video Cards Final Fantasy VII currently supports 3D accelerator video cards that pass the criteria contained in the FF7 Configuration graphic card test. my resolution is at 640x480 16bpp. I am not sure how to adjust this and I am running at 256 colors. How do I change the driver to reflect intel and not nvidia?
