For the last three days i've been getting this message from Anydvd (No Dvd Drive detected!)
    1.You don't have a Dvd drive,buy one.
2.You haven't rebooted your system after Anydvd has been installed. Please restart your computer.
3.Your external Dvd drive is not powered on or is not properly connected.
4.There is a problem intialising the Anydvd driver. If this is the case try this:Uninstall Anydvd
    Reboot.
    Install Anydvd.
    Reboot.

I wrote slysoft and they told me to update to anydvd6.1.0.2 but i'm still getting the same message.sigh

shinya, I've been using AnyDVD for some time now, the only problem that exists with my setup is that AnyDVD and DvdFabDecrypter don't get along. Have you tried the "DEVICE MANAGER" in windows to check the status of the dvd burner? It may well be on the fritz(hope not of course). Have you checked your cabeling to and from the device to make sure nothings come adrift? Also, have you ANY other problems with your rig? For eg: over heating, system crashes or other happenings with hardware or software? One thing can lead to another. If I can't help solve the issue, I believe there are other good people here at After Dawn, that can.

    Cheers.

I think someone else had this exact problem weeks ago maybe try searching and see if it was resolved?
I remember people saying a crack can cause it but if you contacted SlySoft you are obviously using a legit version
shinya hope you find a solution I'll be keen to find out the solution too in case it ever happens to me

    shinya,
This problem I had encountered before. Uninstall your anydvd do a clean up by using CCLEANER. Then reinstall the new anydvd and do a re-boot and everything will be ok.

    henryting,
I did everything you just said and I still get that same message
    (No Dvd Drive detected).
I will be writing Slysoft again and see what kind of advice they will give this time.

make sure the program is registered in your name under the infomation tab if it isn't your will have to reactivate your keycode then reboot and it should work

or try an older verison of the program look here
