    Dear valued customer,

we would like to inform you, that a new version of AnyDVD
has been released. Here the list of fixes and improvements:

    6.0.8.0, 2006 10 08
    - New: Added support for the "Protect DVD-Video" copy protection
to the option to remove "Protection based on unreadable Sectors"
    - New: UDF filesystem patch. With the help of AnyDVD DVDs protected
with "Protect DVD-Video" can now be played on Windows MCE 2005,
with Windows Media player or Zoom Player.
Without AnyDVD these DVDs will not play correctly on PCs.
    - New: Added fix for DVDs with wrong title set search tables.
These DVDs caused CloneDVD / CloneDVD mobile to skip parts of the
movie. We are not sure if this is the lame attempt of a copy
protection, or an unintentional mastering error.
    - New: Improved support for the FluxDVD protection found on DVDs
created from downloads from CinemaNow (needs CloneCD, CloneDVD
2.9.0.1 or better or CloneDVD mobile 1.1.1.0 or better to make
    a copy)
    - New: Added support for new versions of the SONY Arccos protection
to the option to remove "Protection based on unreadable Sectors"
    - New: Added check to the "Jump directly to Tile Menu" function,
    so the player won't deadlock
    - Fix: Title sets with program chains without programs/cells caused
    AnyDVD to crash
    - Some minor fixes and improvements

The update is free for all registered customers, of course.
Just install the new version on top of your current version,
regardless which version you have installed:

    Have fun with AnyDVD!

I'm a bit sick of seeing these posts. If people reading these posts have paid for the program I'm sure they can read their own email and update accordingly.

There are a lot of people that don't get their email about updates from Slysoft due to email servers filtering. Also, some don't check emails often, but check here for news. Sorry you feel the way you do.
These posts are within guidelines here.
[bold]Edit to add[/bold] BTW: What about all the people that have not purchased AnyDVD and are on the fence about buying this Great tool? These posts show not only how often Slysoft updates, but the fixes, new protection removals, etc. May help Slysoft &
The end user that finds out how great it is to have a tool like AnyDVD for back-ups.

I like the heads up also. I like others, use several email accounts to help filter out some of the crap. Because of this I sometimes won't get things for a couple of days.

Well said snoland, I have 5 email addys and use one exclusively for web forms and the such and this is the one that all my crap filters into, so I don't see it as often as I should or pay attention to what I am deleting with the verve that I should. Hence, the heads up makes me look for it.

9mm, looks like we are both on the same page. I get so much junk, it is amazing. I often delete things by mistake because I just don't have the time to read them all.
