I agree with CTxpress about using Anydvd and CloneDvd2. These two programs are the best out there right now. I would just delete DVD X copy.
Hey All, The only problems I find with CloneDVD 2 is if it is a long movie than the quality playback is not that good. You can use AnyDVD with any DVD burning software, I like DVD Shrink and ImgBurn Tool. Try going to http://dvd-copy-software-review.toptenreviews.com for a Look at the best software. Let me know. Cheers
I don't know but so far I'm very very very pleased with Clone DVD2 + Any DVD And what movie you just mentioned, may I ask?
Hey all, Long movies like all lord of the rings, it gave me 50 to 60%. There is no movie I have that it is at 100%. Do you just burn the movie itself? TaTa
i too was wondering if i should be using dvd-5 discs for longer movies (such as apocalypse now redux), or should i spend a bit more on dual layer discs for those.
to anyone interested slysoft just released new update version ANYDVD 5.5.1.1 i just got my auto update this should work with bewitched
DVDRipGuy, Are you sure Slysoft just release AnyDVD 5.5.1.1??? I went to their website and found only 5.4.4.1. Please do not mislead the people here.
yes monster im sure i have the updated version anydvd 5.5.1.1 so does most of the people....look heres what i have in anydvd log 5.5.1.1, Updated Oct 27,2005 - New: Added functionality to remove invalid VOBUs from a title set to the option to remove "Protection based on unreadable Sectors". This fixes the error message "Out of memory" from DVDShrink with some DVDs, which suffer from a certain mastering error. - Fix: The option to remove "Protection based on unreadable Sectors" could cause DVDShrink to abort with an "invalid Navigation structure" error with some DVDs, which suffer from a certain mastering error. - Fix: Setup program did not delete obsolete RegCheck.exe file from previous installations - Fix: Undesired high CPU use for several minutes when checking for program update via internet connection
I want to try out Any DVD,After the down load the program gives me message that my 14 day trial is over.I should be getting a 21 day Trial. Can someone help.
cirlekid - You just Dl'd it and the first time you tried to open it up that is what happened? Or you been using it two weeks and then that happened? Either way something is worng ---- Try UNINSTALLING IT and deleting your original DL - the download it again from this afterdawn site (under SOFTWARE SECTION) and the install and see what happens
For those repsonded to the anydvd update - it is my understanding that it (the newest update) is in beta form - and that is why it is not posted on the site YET. HOWEVER - no one has seemed to have any problems. If you already have your ANYDVD installed if you have it to check for updates automatically - the program itself will lead you str8 to it. Therefore, DvdRipGuy IS giving the correct info - it HAS been updated.
