ok here is the problem i found with the latest ver 6.0.8.5 i finish installing it and rebooted later then i notice when i try to shring or burn my pc shuts off the screen goes blue with white writing saying a driver has been installed or something like that so i did a system restore and it went back to 6.0.8.2 ver and its working fine, could it be a bug in the new ver?
Ditto. I had to revert to a previous version after a BSOD as well. However, I am not sure if it was AnyDVD or a kernel that ProCoder2 was launching that was hogging resources. I'll try reinstalling the new update today and see if the problem repeats... I've never had a problem with updates before...
yes there seems to be a problem with anydvd 6085,also i had one computer thst came up with a dump error..using 6085,went back to 6082 on that computer...6085 works fine on the other computers.. read here for more inf http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=200041
Funny how I had "issues" with the update on my laptop, but there was no problem with the update on my desktop...
ALL GO TO THE LINK I POSTED ABOVE as the slysoft team is aware of the problem http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=200041
AnyDVD "SafeMode" seems to be the cure for a lot of problems: http://club.cdfreaks.com/showpost.php?p=1610828&postcount=80 Why not give it a try?
I think he meant enable "Safe Mode". I just did it haven't tried backing anything up yet after doing it though. What is Safe Mode for anyways ?
Well, I have had No Problems with this update. Backed up 5 movies with this version without issues. Seen this before, some people have problems and some do not. Perhaps it is some driver or software that some have and others don't? I don't know. I do know Slysoft will fix it, and quickly too. They are excellent People at Slysoft!
