ok, softmodded xbox with SID 4.0 SC exploit, worked fine, then stopped. restarted xbox and no evox was there so i was in the middle of backing up my c:\ AGAIN...and the inevitable happens...POWER OUTTAGE! so i search for 2 days for m$ dash and make a xbox hd disk rebuilt my c:\, and voalla it boots up perfectly....only problem is nothing can be read now music cd's, game dvd's nothing... and i cant transfer files from my memory card to my harddrive...

IM NOT ASKING FOR DOWNLOADS (ITS AGAINST DA RULES) so has anyone else experienced this? if so what did you do so it would read?

you searched for 2 days.....??? the original ms dashfiles are in the download section....

how did you rebuild and how did you lock your hd again? with the eeprom.bin file you backed up? or just a hotswap? in both cases you can rebuild a hdd with softmodded files (c4rn1 post for the files...) and you're good to go... not sure why you rebuilded it with the original dashfiles if you can rebuild it to a softmodded one the same way.. but, as mentioned, repeat your rebuild efforts again, but this time with the softmodded files. who knows, maybe your dvd drive will work again normally...
