I need a camcorder for my Final Uni Project as I am making a short film.
Also I've just got 2 kittens and plan on making them YouTube stars!

    I need
High speed recording/Real Slow Motion (This one provides 3-5 second bursts of real slo mo)

    External Mic Input,

    Manual Focus

I'd prefer a hard drive to Mini DV tape.

Anyone got it? Or have any recommendations for others similar?

    Thanks, :)

BTW - Here are the kittens

If you want quality, then stick with miniDV tape. There is nothing better out there.

As far as slow mo goes, there are video editing softwares that can do that.

It should tell you, in the owners manual, how to record in slow mo and whether or not you have to stop recording, first.

It does tell me in the owners manual how to record slow mo but there is no reference how to do it while recording.

Test it, and see if you can do it, while already recording.

I would have been surprised if it had worked. Well, at least now you know.
