    Hi folks,
I am looking for information about this software.
Has anybody here tried it or even heard of it?
I think its called "DVD to DVD" or "DVD Pro". Any info would be welcome. A body just can't have to many backup resources.
    Thanks and goodluck,
    HW.

    Hi Pete,
Thanks for the link but thats not the proggy I was wanting info on. I was more interested in knowing if anybody here had tried the program or not and what results they had. I have the software now and I'll try it and let you know how things go. I'm not very skilled when it comes DVD copying, thats why I've always stuck with Shrink and Decrypter. It's pretty hard to go wrong with either of them. Anyway I got this new program and was hoping for a little inside info but it looks like I'm on my own for now.
    Good Luck,
    HW.

    H.W.,

OK, What is the proggy you're "wanting info on" ?

Yet again, what is "the program" that you were asking about as it isn't the first one you'll have to be more specific ?

Rarely are there 2 programs with the same name.

    Do you have a Mfgr's name ?

    Pete

    Hi Pete,
Here is a link. I didn't have this until I installed the proggy. "prodvd.net".
Its called DVD to DVD by Pro DVD. Haven't tested it yet but I hope to try it soon. I'll keep ya posted.
    Good Luck,
    HW.

I had used this program some time ago. It actually worked pretty good but at the time it had some issues on my dual proc systems. Give it a try.

    OK, got ya -

Pretty a one-click proggy after you go through ripping the DVD with another proggy like DVDFab.

My suggestion would be to use DVD Decrypter -

    64026402,
Thanks for the info. Gonna give it a whirl soon as I get a DVD that needs backin up.

    Pete,
I agree, I think decrypter would be the way to go.
    Thanks,
    HW.

Just use a background ripper like Anydvd or DVD43.

Of those 2, I would opt for AnyDVD for though it costs $$$$ it's only about $30.00 and more than worth it.

DVD43 for $$$$ isn't worth it and DVD43 for the FREE version has too many it won't do. My guess would be perhaps as high as 8-10%

Good that they are, all of the above fail miserably on the Bourne Supremacy.

    Hiya Pete,
Have you got your own special formula for backing up the Bourne Supremacy? I was thinking about givin it a whirl if I can get my hands on it.
    Thanks,
    HW.

Not to step on toes here but I was able to use the trusty shrink and decrypter formula to backup "Bourne Supremacy"

    GeeStar,
Thanks for the info. It's hard to beat the tried and true programs and Shrink and Decrypter are certainly tried and true.
    Good Luck,
    HW.

    Hey H.W.,

Actually, AFA the Bourne Supremacy, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and one or two others - In "Unreferenced materials" in title 1 menus, there is a "Boy" running (in green shorts too). Sometimes DVD Shrink gets through it sometimes not -

If you are stuck, then go to that Unreferenced section - Go to "Compression" select "Custom Ratio" then select "Still image" then try DVD Shrink again, it should slide right on through, like a hot knife through tender Turkey -

    Cheers,

    Pete

I was hoping to have some results to post about this new DVD PRO program but haven't even tried it yet. I work in the oil patch and we've been workin 12 to 14 hrs. a day 7 days a week now tryin to get all our projects wrapped up before Chistmas. That shit has been in the ground for millions of years now but it seems that the greedy pricks I work for want it all out today or atleast before Christmas. I'll get back to ya when I can.
    Good Luck,
    HW.
