I can decrypt/Shrink it, the video preview in Shrink looks fine - the DVD is always a coaster, despite burning "successfully!"

I would use a better ripper such as DVDFab HD Decrypter. http://www.dvdidle.com/free.htm

What brand discs are you using?
Are you burning with DVDD, Imgburn or Nero? I would recommend burning with Imgburn. Post a log of the burn from whichever program you are using please.

Burning with DVD Shrink (using Nero) - decrypted with DVDFab, and made a brand new coaster. Again.

update to nero 6.6.0.18 its the last/best version of nero 6 (ALSO EDIT YOU'RE KEYCODE OUT OF YOU'RE POST!!)

    http://filehippo.com/download_nero_burning_rom/?539

also, update the firmware on the Plextor drive. you can do it here

    http://www.plextor.com/english/support/downloads/firm_708A.htm

    TIPS

use good blank media like Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim burning NO faster than 8x on a clean machine without other programs running.

i did the movie the first week it was out using clonedvd 2 + anydvd. doing the movie only. doing the movie only helps lots on newer hard to do releases. hope you put it on a DVD+DL blank being its a long movie. its hard to follow but is very good, it doesn't drag

Thanks man! Edited the key out, lol.

My old burner doesn't do any faster than 8x and no DL.. shrunk the hell out of it.

I was using Sony... usually use TDK....

I am a Lynch fan - LOVE Mulholland Drive!

    So Imgburn worked?

With the suggestions of aabbccdd you should get Nero up and running again although I noticed DMA is off on two drives and that needs fixing.

My IDE Channels don't say PIO only, all the devices say they are in DMA mode! Also, Nero InfoTool says my drives are in DMA!

Which DVDs use Taiyo Yuden dye?

If you can find them and its a big IF Sony or Fujifilm 8x speed that are "Made In Japan" will code out as Taiyo Yuden. your only other option is to buy them online at http://supermediastore.com or http://meritline.com there the best two places to get them online
