Apache HTTP server bug

    i've instaled apache http server 2.2.8 and i was wondering how can i get rid of the apache's test page that goes something like this
    http://www.lamethrower.com/
    i tried to find docs for this page in my instalation folder and i tried to find some suspicious lines in conf files but nothing
    there's nothing on google either. can someone give me a hint. thx :D

    oh yeah i forgot to mention that only happens when i type http:/localhost
    when i type http:/localhost/index.html it functions normally
