Apex

    I have a cheap Apex from Walmart and it plays everything. Divx,svcd,vcd,mpeg,p3,dvd-r,dvd+r cd of every kind. And I've had the thing for about 3 years. Just thought I would comment on this cheap player.

    my Apex quit on me after about 6 months trashed it a got a Denon. but for the money there pretty good players

    I've had my Apex 1110W for over 3 years now. It's starting to have some trouble reading discs, but it plays everything: PAl, NTSC, DVD+-R/RW & DL, VCD, SVCD, etc.

    I recently bought the 1250X which plays DiVX and XViD as well as everything the old one played. Apex is teh roX0rs.
