i have recently upraded to a dual core cpu and as such i was wondering which software would take addvantedge of this. my pc is used for all the normal stuff from surfing to gaming and a bit of office and dvd back up in between. any advice is welcomed and greatly aprecieated, thanks.
Just curious Marsey99, what kind of software do you mean? Gaming, I thought would be such software that would give your cpu and other components a workout. If you mean industrial type applications, then some of these are to be considered real challengers to any "home pc". Again just curious. Cheers.
anything and everything, burning, encoding, ripping, office stuff, anything you can think of that is dual core optimized.
Industrial apps like Autodesks Inventor or Solidworks or pro Engineer, are very cpu and graphics intensive. They also take a considerable amount of time to learn. (as in college training) For specifically dual core optimised apps, I'll keep my eyes peeled. Cheers.
