OK heres the problem. I got some apps for the box. XBMC, dvd2xbox, dvdx2, etc... I downloaded them and unrared them. Then I connected to my xbox and transfered them to my E:/Apps folder. Then I rebooted the xbox. Then when i go to the dashboard menu--->Apps the only thing I find is dvd2xbox. Thanxz for your time!

Section "Apps" { AutoAddItem "e:\apps\" AutoAddItem "f:\apps\" SortAll Well looking at this it seems to be all good....as long as your programs have their xbe file named default.xbe they should show up in the APPS on your menu. If you have that blue M$ looking dash at startup you might have to goto the old school evox dash and start the program once for it to make a gamesave file on the M$ dash for it to be recognized in the blue dash. You also could have a bunk version of the programs that don't show up. you could also try this Item "Launch DVD",ID_Launch_DVD Item "Xbox Media Center","e:\Apps\XBMC\default.xbe" Item "Trainers",ID_trainer Item "MS Dashboard",ID_MS_Dash Item "Reboot",ID_Quick_Reboot # Item "Power Cycle",ID_Full_Reboot Item "Power Off",ID_Power_Off # Item "Lock Harddisk",@210 # Item "Unlock Harddisk",@211 Section "System Utils" i dont know if it'll work in your version of the dash but it might make a direct link to your media center, you'll have to check your actual path to your xbmc to fine tune it though. Worth a try
Well, I finaly got my appz to work, but some of them dont work because they dont have the default.xbe So how the hell do I suppose to run them. Can I make a defualt.xbe for them some how? Those appz that dont work are, dvdX 2, Px HDDD Loader, and Logo-X. And some more cuz I dont even have internet connection . I need help on that too! Thanxz punwequ!
what .xbe file came with dvdx2? and all the rest....sometimes they're named like dvdx2.xbe and then you could just rename it to default.xbe....try that, just rename the xbe files to default.xbe
also make sure that your directories are right....check to see if your folder for dvdx2 matches this.... [Misc] AutoLaunchGames = No AutoLaunchDVD = No DVDPlayer = "f:\apps\dvd2.0\default.xbe" AutoLaunchAudio = No this is from your ini file,so make sure that the folder for dvdx2 is in the right place, cause this is what it's looking for right now.
In dvdx2 it only had a readme and a .rar file, but no "archives found" (its 12,000 kb tho) and ph loader had an info, readme, and a .rar file...same result (52,000 kb). Is dvdx2 only for linux on the xbox? Do you have any suggestions on any good appz or programs for the xbox or pc? Thanxz again punqewe!!!! Oh ya, what are bunk version programs, as u stated before in your first post?
