As title really. I;ve read certain comments here and there saying you cant use AR MAX to softmod, and since this is the only version freely available (as far as I can see) its quite annoying if it doesn't work. So do I definately need the original action replay?
No, of course not. AR max works perfectly. Whoever told you that really doesn't know their facts. I softmodded along with thousands of people with AR max. It will work.
