unless there's a really good guide or simple answer you can immediately link to, then no. this is just spam. this guy's advertising his forum, something which is generally a right you have to pay for, as you would with advertising software, games, other sites, etc. it's kinda mean to come down on him, i guess, but it's simpler to keep something straight across the board than to come up with a complex list of exceptions. so, we have the understood rule: "no pimpin' other forums!"
as long as it doesn't compete with our site, or people put links to guides for other sites when we have perfectly good guides here, i dont really see a problem with it. if our users can benefit or enjoy it, and it doesn't cause us grief, i think it would be ok. it aint like we got a big music section anyway.
are you saying that there is a guitar that can tune itself? imean physically tune itself? i play around on the guitar. i never got serious about learning how to play.but tuning the guitar is a bitch! even if you have a hand tuner.so that would be a good invention.
i checked out the self tuning system.you can install it on any guitar.pretty neat.but what was your point?(your first post was edited).that music intiative is about hurricane releif or something like that.i skipped over it to check out the selftuning guitar thing.not trying to be rude,but ive already donated to the hurricane releif..
Sui-cyco, My only point is that the forums are new and I am rather excited about the Musicians that are involved. I thought if more pple knew who they are and what they are doing, I might find some others that would like to leave them a comment or 2. And,while it is true that soo many have graciously donated monetary donations for the disaster victims, this initaitive is unique in that,they are not focusing simply on raising money. They are actually serving themselves as a Hub center point for collections of non-parishable food items,personal care items...etc, realizing of course that the victims will need our help for on going assistance for a time.
