Simple but its true subject line.

I went through the URL's and the search engines before posting. The last time a simular question was asked about .asf was April 2003 and not what i was needing. You know how fast technology advances, so here I am needing the subject line updated.

Whats the best way to convert .asf to VCD using the latest TMPG program.

I'm using XP, & the lastest Nero and the latest TMPGenc.

Whats the best way to go without converting it to another codec (hench loosing what quality it already has).

Try to use TMPGEnc v.1.2a. Next versions of TMPGEnc can't read asf files

I find it works much better if you can get hold
of virtualdub v13c and use it to frameserve
    to tmpgenc (any release)
