Im using Sonic DVDit! Pro to author a dvd. everything goes fine. I select 4:3(Letterbox) in the display option. Still I never get to see it in a wide screen view. Instead it crops the sides from left and right. I've tried so many things and wasted so many DVDs but did'nt work. Please help me or reccomend me a better tool or anything. i'm frustrated now!

Don"t use Sonic DVDit to do the encodeing because you have no controll over how the Video is encoded, Use a Proper Standalone encoder to encode the File to Mpeg-2/DVD format and then Load the Mpeg-2 file into DVDit and author it to DVD....

A Good encoder that will allow you to Properly set the Dementions of your Video so it is Displayed Properly is "Tmpgenc" and it is Free for Mpeg-2 encodeing for 30 days and you can Find it in the Software section of this Site....

All you do so it displays your Video correctly is go into the settings under the "Advanced" tab and set the "Video Arrange Method" setting to "Center Custom Size" and set the Custom size to "720 x 368" which should Produce an Image that Looks Correct on your TV set...

If you need any help let me Know....

    Cheers
