Ok, when I upgraded Windows Media Player the upgrade came with Roxio, this program conflicted with Nero, so I was advised to use Roxio zapper, it worked but it also killed the system ASPI, I have been able to burn several movies with Nero's ASPI. What is the difference? Everytime I close Nero Info it reverts to system ASPI. I got a link to download the ASPI but someone commented there that it killed the communication with its Hard drives. Is this true? Is there any risks with installing a system ASPI? I work with W2K SP4.
I tried to charge my Ipod and the computer does not see that USB all the sudden because a driver is missing. Is this related?

    Thanks for your help!

I have no system ASPI and have no problem.
Nero uses it's own ASPI and anything else that wants system ASPI should tell you up front.
