As some of you may know I'm an avid concert goer and I like to share some of my experiences at shows with ya'll.... so last night I saw the Asylum Street Spankers for the first time... I didn't really know what to expect from them as I'd only been listening to their music for about two weeks... well.... talk about a different show.. it was at this lil dive bar in DT Denver. The whole idea behind their show was that it would be something that you'd never experienced before...they were right.. they had fifty people sitting on the floor in front of the stage in this bar and were telling people to shut up and listen to their music... and rightly so, they are so amazingly tallented... there is six of them and each plays at least three different insturments ranging from strange guitars to some sort of metal shirt that a guy plucks at with metal fingered gloves... the woman, Christina, in the group has a beautiful voice. There songs range from songs about drugs and beer to boogers and love.. Its really a great show if you ever get a chance to go.
