    Hi all.
I have the same problem like PsuGunit three posts before me. After authoring an avi file in Nero or Intervideo WinDVD the video and audio are not sync - audio is late. I tryed to burn and write to folder, but it doesn`t work.
    The avi file is:
    File : 349 MB (349 MB), duration: 0:41:35, type: AVI, 1 audio stream(s), quality: 51 %
    Video : 312 MB, 1050 Kbps, 23.976 fps, 624*352 (16:9), XVID = XVID Mpeg-4, Supported
    Audio : 36 MB, 124 Kbps, 48000 Hz, 2 channels, 0x55 = MPEG Layer-3, Supported
When I try the same on my second PC it works fine and the final DVD is correct. Nero on both computers is using the same codecs.
I think that there is something wrong on my computer, something what is used by both authoring progs. Maybe a missing code or wrong settings?
    Thank in advice.

Well it could be that the audio in your AVI file is VBR MP3 which is the Most Common Format used in Downloaded Movies and this audio format will allmost allways go out of Sync after encodeing to DVD Format....

To solve this Type of Problem you must decompress the audio in your AVI file before you attempt to Put it on to DVD...You can use this Tool for decompressing the audio in your AVI files before encodeing...

    http://www.megaupload.com/?d=J7HNW11I

It will make the File much Bigger but this will not affect how big it will be after encodeing to DVD Format....

    Cheers
