Audio but no video

    i have an AVI file that plays fine on my pc and when i converted it to dvd format with dvd santa and opened it in dvd shrink it previewed fine in the preview box but when shrik finished encoding and burning with nero the dvd just had a black screen with audio on my pc or any other dvd player. this has happened with the last to files that i did this with.

    any ideas what might have caused this?

    Why use DVDShrink in the first place? Why not just burn after DVD Santa is done?

    i could try that now befor i had errors in dvd santa but i have just formatted my hard drive and it should work now

    i tryed to burn using DVD Santa but it stops responding i'm not sure when i thought formatting my hard drive would fix this but it didn't.

    any other ideas?
