I've been ripping and burning audio cd's with clonecd reliably for about 18 months. I haven't updated it since then either. I know "best" is a relative benchmark, but is clone considered to be top in its class as far as ripping/burning audio? How much do the actual physical player/burner drives play in the quality of the end product? thanks for the info.
its not the best for doing audio... clone cd was know for its inovative ability to read disks raw and burn them. It dosent support premastering and its not being updated that often... as of right now alcohol 120% is being updated regularly and its being developed to support premastering cds.
