    Hey,

I just bought a new dvd (dave matthews in central park) And when i play it on my computer the opening menu runs with sound just fine, but when i click on view concert, or try to watch any of the chapters on the dvd there is no sound.

I have tried this on my computer (winxp) in both powerDVD, and WMP, with the same problem, i have tried it on my buddy's computer, and also tested it on linux (Xine and mplayer) then i tried it on my friend's standalone dvd player, it worked fine.

Is there some new technology that prevents dvds from being played on computers?? and if so, how do I get around it :)

Just to let you know, every other dvd i own works fine, and this was put out in '03 by rcarecords.

    thanks a million,

    mike

Only advice that can be really given is update your DVD Player! I personally prefer WinDVD over anything else! It has yet to let me down :)
