I'm a newbie here so forgive me if this question has been raised before. I have audio lag on a couple of films I've d/l during playback on neroshowtime 7 and subsequently when burning to disc. Playback using videolan is fine, but you this player does not support burning. How can i solve this problem? Is there a way to configure videolan to burn, or nero to burn differently so as to sync audio and video? Any help greatly appreciated. Duffers
Which version of Nero 7, the lastest 7.10.1.0? Otherwise see if this thread helps: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/3/501702#3121528 Some prefer ConvertXtoDVD over Nerovision. It doesn't seem to have the same problems. http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/
Thanks for the input. I have nero 7 premium. I want to try this ConvertXtoDVD d/l. It states that in the free version, there is a watermark encoded. Does this mean tha when you play the film back, the watermark is visible throughout the whole film? I am only really wanting to burn two classic films that are difficult to get hold of. I now have both, they are excellent quality, but seem to play in nero at a slower than normal pace. I don't want to commit (i.e pay) to something before I can see what it will do. duffers
Yes convertx imprints upon the output. Some like to use the freebee open source DVD Flick, so that's another possibility for you: http://www.dvdflick.net/
The watermark appears randomly throughout the movie and states it can be removed by purchasing the key (which is in fact the program)...no biggie or anyway before I purchased the prog it didnt bother me to any great extent.
Thanks laddyboy. This has solved the problem for me. I d/l the dvdflick and ran the programme. I saved the transcoded file and burned it using nero, no video lag! I only made one coaster, so that's not too bad. I also d/l a film with 2 audio tracks, ger / eng. When trying to burn this in Nero, it chose the german track, and didn't give me the option to choose the english one. I see that dvdfilck does, so I am trying that out as well. Thanks again for your input. Cheers! duffers
