I download movies onto my computer to start with, the movie avi. file is fine, video matches audio all the way through. I then put the file in VSO Divx2DVD and let it do its thing, i leave the computer alone so i am not to mess up the process. I have done plenty of movies and they turn out fine, it says burn successfull and they work, but some of the dvds audio is off from the video. Why, b/c the audio and video in the original is fine. I have no clue what to do and really need an answer, thank you to anyone who can help me and shed some light on this subject. I have tried other forums and they talked about mixing this and that and it made no since with nothing to show you how to do anything, please help me with this!!!

    Dear Gary_L,

You may try use the commercial version of VSO (i.e. ConvertXtoDVD) for encoding to see if it's better. The program has certain capacity to deal with the sync. issue.

If your avis are downloaded, you could also first check for and correct any errors with e.g. AviFixed before encoding:

BUT be sure to back up the original avis first 'cos the process might back fire.

    Good luck!
