I recently downloaded a DVD rip(video) of a stand up comedy routine. I was wondering, if it is possible to burn an AUDIO only MP3 of the routine to a cd to listen on my stereo??

If I went into like NERO and selected "audio" would it burn the file as an audio only cd or would I get an error message??

    any help would be great.

There are many free programs that will pull out the audio stream from a DVD or VOB file. Once you have the audio file you can burn it to a cd just like any audio file. Here is one program you might try...

You can use a program like audacity to convert the files to mp3 format.

AVIDeMux can do it too. You'll probably want to find one of the many guides on how to use it.
