I started with an HDTV MPEG video in a TS file. I encoded it with TMPGEnc to make it compatible with the DVD format. I have to adjust the audio (with BeSweet) to eliminate lip sync problems. I can play the resulting file with either Windows Media Player or MPC and it looks fine. However when I create a DVD with Authoring Works 4, the audio is out of sync again. What am I doing wrong?
Have you tried using HDTVtoMPEG2 on TS file and output it to MPEG format, then load the MPEG into DVD Flick for conversion to DVD format. Run HDTVtoMPEG2, load the file. Choose output file type 'Mpeg2' http://www.videohelp.com/tools/HDTVtoMPEG2 http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_tools/dvd_flick.cfm
I used HDTVtoMPEG2 for editing the content. I needed to combine two different recordings and that seemed to work fine. I was able to fix the problem by using the original audio converted to AC3 with Besweet. I was pretty sure I tried that previously and had problems. However it was suggested so I gave it another try.
