Hi - I've just spent a few hours searching the forum and have tried a few things but the audio whenever I play any dvd the audio is a few seconds behind. Basically I have had my computer for 3/4 years and have installed A LOT of stuff. Before I started trying to sort out my laptop the audio was really bad quality and video was jumpy - now its better. I removed some of the audio and video codexs using GSpot, I then removed some of the audio codecs in control pannel>sounds and audio devices>hardware>audio codec but it didnt want to remove 'intervideo mp3 audio codec' or 'microsoft pcm converter' as they sounded particularly important (I know nothing about codecs or computers come to think of it!) After removing most of my audio and video codecs as described I installed the divx total package - now the video is good (not jumpy) and the sound quality is good but IT IS OUT OF SYNC. I am so close but just cant go the final mile can you guys help me out. PLEASE ps do you think a should remove the 2 audio codexs I mentioned above and just rely on DivX (I use intervideo dvd)
