have an avi file trying to put on a dvd
the original avi file is fps 23.98. audio is 48000 hz.,137kbps, mpeg1 or 2 layer 3.

i encoded the video to dvd standards in tmpegenc with fps 29.97, 720 x 480.
used virtualdub at full process mode extracted the audio to wav
put both audio and video into videostudio 9 but before i authorized it, i played it back in videstudio to see if the audio matched to the video , but the audio and video matched up fine till about 35 minutes into the movie then the audio goes out of sync. how do i fix it??

    thanks

Just an idea, it has worked for me in the past...

Convert the avi to MPEG with tmpegenc, then convert that MPEG to DVD. If that doesnt work then convert the avi to MPEG (like before) but use another video tool like Nero Vision Express or WinAVI.
