I have a movie split into 2 AVI files and I'm attempting to join them. When I use AVIJoiner or a similar prog, I'm told the audio in the files differ from each other. I've looked on GSpot and one is 114 kbs and the other is 115kbs. How do I remedy this?
Not only do the audio bitrates need to be identical, but so do the frame rates, as well as the video bitrates. My best advice is to convert both avi's to VCD mpeg with TMPGEnc and then back to avi with the same a/v bitrates using Virtualdub. You shouldn't have any problem joining the avi's then. Not exactly a quick remedy I know, but it'll work.
