Hi, I'm trying to convert an AVI to DVD using avi2dvd. When I load the file it is saying that the audio format is not supported. I checked the file with GSpot and it says the following used for audio; "divx (same as wma) (0x0161) DivX Networks" Is there any way to convert the audio stream to something that will work with avi2dvd? If so, what progs will I need? Ta
I don't like what it wrote. "divx (same as wma) (0x0161) DivX Networks" doesn't seem a codec for an audio stream. Open the movie with VirtualubMod, do Stream__Stream List and report here what it appears. Just a guess: In VirtualDubMod, do Stream__Stream List___Demux and edit the corresponding stream with HeadAC3he. Probably HeadAC3he can turn it into a better format...
Thanx. I'll have a go at your suggestion when I get home from work. Will need to get hold of VirtualDubMod, only got plain old VirtualDub. Will need to HeadAC3he too... I'll let you know how it goes.
If you don't know what to do, try making a different AVI using some methods described in http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/196299 , expecially part 2) of http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/129217 (TMPGenc's output without sound) or http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/190445 (replacing, in an AVI, an audio stream with a MP3 CBR one)
