audio stream sampling rates

    ive got 2 avi files i wanted to join together with virtual dub but came up with an error when joining avi segments, saying audio stream sampling rates are not the same so it could not join them together can anyone please help me would be verry gratefull.

    are they from same film? done by same encoder? or totally different?

    hmm - youll need to re-encode then join

    Load the first into virtualdub.
    Select Audio, full processing.
    Select Video, direct stream copy.
    Select File, save avi.
    Do the same to the second.
    You will now be able to load and join them in virtualdub.
