Audio sync problems on AVI

    Hi,
    I have an AVI that plays ok for the first 10 minutes, then all of a sudden the audio and video go out of sync by about 1 second. Does anyone have any idea how I do this? My guess is that I'm gonna have to extract audio and video seperately and put them together again but what software do I use?

    by the way you describe it I would say your right
    Virtualdub is good for redubbing avi's
