I have an avi film where the voice audio is off sync with the movie. Like the old kung-fu movie are. They speak and seconds laert you hear the words. How can I get the audio to be in sync with the movie? Thanks.
Possilbe fixes. 1) Use GSpot to ID the correct codec used and then get the codec. or 2)The audiostream is either .AC3 format or Variable Bitrate MPEG Layer 3 (VBR .MP3). You can try using VirtualDubMOD (Different than standard VirtualDub), to save the audio stream as an Uncompressed PCM (WAV) file as follows: 1) Load the .AVI file into VirtualDubMOD 2) From the "Video" dropdown menu, select "Direct Stream Copy" 3) From the "Streams" dropdown menu, select "Stream List" - and rightclick on the audio stream, then select "Full Processing Mode" - then click on "OK" 4) From the "File" dropdown menu, save the .AVI with a new filename. When finished try the new file. If all worked well the sync problem should be corrected. No guaranties but worth a shot.
