audio sync

    Could someone please give me settings they use when converting a dvd or .avi file into mpeg4 or h264 that work PERFECTLY with perfect screen resolution (700-768) and perfect audio syncing. this is the most frusterating shi** and somone must have figured out the right settings. Help greatly appreciated. Thanks

    If you are using syncing for iPod video (assuming this is an iPod forum) than you will want screen resolution of 320x240 and video at 768 kbps and audio at 128-160 kbps (this is for .mp4).

    Have a look at the top of my guide in the top of the forum room, it has all the tech specs of Video listed in there..

    I've used those specs with videora and the audio is still not in sync....any other suggestions

    Have you tried watching the vob file to see if it is good? I sometimes play mine with media player classic before I transcode to check quality.
