    Hi ,

I have successfully transfered my audio from tape to PC in WAV format using Sound forge audio studio 8.0. I then converted into MP3 and WMA format. My issues is the length of the audio tape is 90 mins (both sides included) and the CD capacity is only 80 mins. I am unable to burn the file due to its length.

    1) Can anyone suggest how to shorten the duration of the audio file (stored as .WMA or .MP3 format) ?

Additional info : The audio tape is a lecture tape I cannot split the length since they are lectures.

    Thanks in advance .
