    Hi, I've done a forum search but didn't see a reference for audio track information I was looking for.

    I am shrinking a dvd with the following audio tracks;
    AC3 6-ch English 407mb (keep)
    DTS 6-ch English 685mb (keep)
    AC3 2-ch English 174mb ?
    AC3 2-ch English 173mb ?
    AC3 2-ch English 174mb ?

    I would like to keep the first and second audio tracks. First(Dolby) and second(in case I buy a DTS receiver one day).
    My question is what are the last three tracks and are they required??
    Thanks in advance.

    The audio tracks Might be Labeled as english but they Probably arent or 2 of them are One being a Sterio AC3 Dolby digital Track and One being directors Comments and the Rest are Probably either Spanish or French...You will usually get an AC3 5.1 english Track and a Sterio English Track, But I would Not advise you to keep the DTS Track because if you Keep it you will Have to be Happy with Lower Quality Video because DTS Takes Up Far too much space on a DVD so Just keeping those 2 audio Tracks will take up 1/4 of the Space on your DVD which will Mean that there will be Less space for the Video which means it will need to be compressed more so it will Fit in the Space that is left and that will lower the Quality...I personally usually go for the Sterio Ac3 dolby Digital audio track over the 6ch one because it is about half the size which leaves me with Better Video Quality and I don"t have a Surround Sound System anyways...well good Luck_X_X_X_X_X_[small]It"s better to be Pissed Off than Pissed On!!![/small]
