I have a movie file with AVI extension. When I playback in Windows Media Player, the Audio get's out of synchronization with the Video, meaning the Video comes 1-2 seconds later than the video. I wanted to create a VCD file for playback on home DVD players and hoped that TMPGEnc would correct the problem, but unfortunately it's still there. Is there any way of synchronizing Audio and Video? If yes, is it better to work on the original AVI file or on the VCD file I created? I eventually found some "filters" (?) at address: http://www-user.rhrk.uni-kl.de/~dittrich/sync/ but here I would appreciate advise from some experts in this forum. Thanks in advance for your invaluable help
Could have bad frames easily!! have you tried avifixed, or divfixed. Remember to make a backup of the file first before u use either!
