Hi. I downloaded a torrent file that contained multiple videos. The problem is that on each of them the audio and video are out of sync (the audio plays before the video). Others who downloaded the same files said that they are out of sync about 950-1000 ms, and suggested trying virtual dub to fix that problem. Following those directions (enabling audio interleaving and adding an audio delay of 950 ms, then resaving the file as .avi) had no effect whatsoever on the output. Anyone have something else to suggest?

I'd hate to have to chuck the whole thing out :-( edited in later: ok, just remembered that bumping up is not allowed in this forum but can't now delete this post so I apologize! I am just desperate! edited in yet later: ok, although I did a visual search of this forum before I posted my initial post, I had not seen a thread that helped which is why I posted mine. but now using the search function better I found this : http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/306637 which I am linking here incase anyone else has same problem.
