It depends on what type of Sync Problem you have....If you have the Type of sync Problem that is Gradual ,Meaning the Movie starts out in sync but as the Movie progresses the movie starts to go out of sync and it gradually gets worse then it is usually caused from the audio and Video streams being of different Lengths, so the way to fix it is to use a Good audio editor to Stretch or shrink the audio stream to the exact length of the Video stream ,This will usually fix the problem but it is a Tricky thing to do and it takes some Knowlege and know how on your Part to do Properly...Some times it is better to look at the cause of the Sync problem and try to fix it before it happens...If you used Tmpgenc to encode your Files to Mpeg1/VCD then the Sync problem can be caused from not encodeing the AVI file to Mpeg useing the Same Frame rate, Which means that if your AVI file has a Frame rate of 25fps you have to encode it to a Mpeg file at 25fps, and the same if the AVI file is 23.97fps you have to encode it to Mpeg at 23.97fps and useing a different frame rate can cause sync Problems and jumpy Playback....Good Luck
