Hi i have the Aureal Vortex 8830 Sound card which supports 4.1 speakers. However, when i plug everything in only two speakers work and the subwoofer. I updated the drivers, tried different pci slots and still no luck? Any Suggestions?
If I remember well ~~ smiles !!((Seen so many cards)) This card has a Control Panel and in it you can select from there !
Did'nt you get a Cd with this card ? -- Is there an Instruction booklet ? Is there an icon in your tray ? I posted ""If I remember well"" -- That means I have seen that card before and it had a control panel to select the output ! Aureate went out of business a few years back -- the leftovers were bought by Creative Labs. Perhaps searching the web in your browser may help you find a PDF file that would explain -- step by step -- what to do to select the proper output.
