Hallo When I try to use IFO edit to author my m2v-file after finished encoding, ( used the guides ) nothing comes up. Pleas help me, I hav one file 2,5 Gb large. Must I split it or something? Please exuse my bad english..
[bold]I hav one file 2,5 Gb large[/bold] ahh a 2.5gb file would easily fit on a 4.7gb dvdr no need to split, i'd try using nero to author your dvd or you could even try tmpge's own dvd author (ive heard its very good) but the cost is a bit of a let down, and no trial version (i think). so i'd say nero would be the way to go, at least you can download a trial version. hope this helps...cheers
sorry i should of explained a little better 'tmpgenc dvd author' is a separate program especially for the purpose of authoring dvd (ive never used it myself, but ive heard it quite good) heres the link: http://www.pegasys-inc.com/en/product/tda.html and i was wrong there is a 30 day free trial version, after that ur'll have to buy it, at $68 a pop =/, but i surpose it would be well worth the investment if you do alot of dvd authoring and before you ask no there are no free dvd authoring programs out there, the reason for this is that mpeg2(svcd,dvd) require a license which the company has to pay and therefore reflecting back on their customers with a hefty price tag unless you can crack the program (which im not gonna tell you how to do) you'll be paying for a dvd author no matter what cheers m8
I have been using TMPG Author - yeah it has a thirty day on it, not used any others but it is so easy to use.
