Well I downloaded AutoGK and converted about 20 movies to test out so I can stream them to an xbox360. I have run into a couple of problems, half of the movies audio is out of sync and the audio is way to quiet. I tried the auto and default settings for audio but that did not help. What are some of the other good free dvd->divx converters out there? I have also tried cloneDVDmobile but the video quality is too choppy.
Your best bet is fairuse wizard lite (free version). I've been using it for 2 years and it doesn't produce any audio/sync problems. Well i installed avi.net and it says i need to rip the dvd first. Fairuse will be the same. I want to avoid as many steps as possible (as much time as possible).
Try DVDFab Platinum, i was searching for a program like you, and i have downloaded about 100 of that, and the most automated and reliable is DVDfab platinum. It has ready profiles for 360, PS3 etc
