Hey guys, hopefully someone here can lend a hand with this problem. I've been trying to backup some DVD's at home with AutoMKV but everytime all I get is a log file in the output folder, can anyone help:

Try Handbrake and see if it works.

Why doesn't the MKV produced from Handbrake stream to the PS3?
    What are the requirements?

    NEVERMIND! :) Found this thread:

    http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/661404

    and read this:

My method was as follows :

I used MKV2VOB. You're not reencoding. Choose the MKV file, and hit ADD. It will convert it to an MPG file which can be streamed either through MediaPlayer 11, or TVersity (Both of which work amazing). It took 10-12 minutes for this process (4.5 gig file)

File works great now on PS3

    Appreciate your help though :)

That makes sense. MKV can hold almost anything, even mpeg-2.
How does "streaming" to the ps3 actually work?
