I picked up an av cable for my ipod video (80 gig). When I first tried it as normal I was getting only a buzzing noise. I read through some old posts here that said to swap the yellow and red connections on the rca. I did this and got sound fine, but the picture is just lines with awful colors all over the place. They play on my ipod and also on my computer in full screen mode. Does anyone know a solution? Could it be a setting on my tv? I set the ipod to work with tv and ntsc with widescreen both on and off. I just don't understand why it won't work. I picked a "free" rca set on my tv and it should work fine. The av cable is by Dynex tv is 32 inch Sony Vega. Thanks!
Ok... figured it out. The skin (cover) wasn't letting me get a secure connection to the ipod. I did manage to get the video working but pictures do not display for some reason. Does anyone know what a good video bitrate is for the best quality picture?
