avi 2 dvd quality

    whats the quality like when taking a 350mb avi file and putting it on dvd to watch on a tv? what about a 700mb avi file?

    Size of the original file makes no difference. What determines quality is the length, the bitrate and how compressible a source is. Using a high enough bitrate and a decent encoder you should not be able to tell the difference between the DVD and the source. The quality will still be lower though since DVD uses MPEG-2 which is lossy.
