i have a program called moviejack and i can burn 2 types of format 1.mpg 2.avi if i burn mpg it makes it in the appropriate cd format i.e. vcd, svcd, xvcd, xsvcd but if i burn avi it jus burns it as a file - do dvd players support dis type of cd or is it just available to watch on pc
yes some of the newer players suport dvix, i used movie jack a long time ago and for it's time it was great it was like dup dvd, but they took to long to do what they do, compared to what the programs do now, so what are you trying to do? do you have a dvd burner, is that why you are using that program? that program was used for people who did not have a dvd burner, just a cd burner but they had a dvd rom drive, any more questions just do another post and i will see what i can do ok?
like u sed i didnt have a dvd riter long time ago so i use 2 bak ma dvdz up using vcd den recently i found divx was a million tymes better so i tested it and it was. sooooooo out of curiousity wanted 2 no wat a avi disc was..if there was one because i herd sum dvd players cud play em. so i tested if moviejack cud and sure enuf the above r the results (1st post) so i was wondering if avi cd were jus files or actual discs (vcd,svcd......u no wt i meen)
