I'm new to the forum and I'm just beginning to learn about this stuff. I have 10 video files in AVI format, each with a file size of around 200 MB (30 min). I wanto to burn a compolation of all 10 files on a standard DVD-R with the preservation of quality in mind. I decided to use TMPGENC to encode each file separately according to the guide on this website. The problem is that TMPGEnc will only allow me to make the video file as small as 37.8% of the DVD-R's capacity (roughly 1.6 GB). Since I need to fit 10 files on the disc, this will not work. What can I do to make this work. Any suggestions on a different method are acceptable. Thanks in advance.

Im sorry to tell you, but there is no way that 10, 200mb avis are going to fit on one DVD after you convert them to DVD-files.

Now if you wanted to put 5 each on two seperate DVDs that will work. Use VSO DivXtoDVD (freeware) and you should be able to fit 5 on each.

    Good luck!
