avi file error

    i am using pc capture avi with cinecode hd , capture 60 minite pc cut off , i restart pc i see cature video file ( 12G ) but cannot play ?, i capture again start ....stop then the clip is ok can play , CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME HOW TO REPAIR THE BROKEN AVI FILE W/O CAPTURE STOP .

    moved to correct forum as not a news issue. knock off the caps lock as is referred to as shouting which is a forum rule no no.

    It could be missing the index or it could be corrupt. Open it with
    Virtualdub or Avidemux and see if offers to build the index.
