i'm sorry here people i'm new at this. So please just help me out here. When I download a .avi file on ares it will NEVER play. I tried clicking on the post that says "avi not playing in ares" but it wouldn't let me go to it so sorry for a double post. I'm sure theres a simple solution to this problem and i'd really appriciate some help. If anyone has a specific site that i could download something from please post it. By the way I have XP w/Windows media player and neither that or ares will play it. Thanks in advance!
ok well i've downloaded some stuff...gspot, xvid and well i don't know how to work it. I downloaded xvid off the internet but i don't know how to unzip it. And gspot-when you choose the file name do you press render and it just changes the file and then you can view it? For example i download the movie old school off of ares and it won't play on there. If I put the old school file in gspot and choose render will i then be able to watch it? How does this stuff work/do i need to download something else/HELP ME
